Connecticut Trolley Museum
View our exhibit on the History and Evolution of the Electric Trolley and its Impact on Society. It takes you on a journey of how the electric trolley evolved from the horsecar to the "modern" PCC. Also, learn how society was impacted by amusement parks (trolley parks), streetcar suburbs, and the growth of mill towns. Union Pacific Steamshop
No other railroad in this country has retained its historical equipment and honored its past like Union Pacific. The preservation of its fleet speaks to the high value Union Pacific places on its heritage and its role in America's history. No. 844, the Living Legend, returned to service in 2016 and will visit Boise and Omaha before concluding the 2017 schedule with Cheyenne Frontier Days! Meanwhile, work continues to restore the Big Boy, No. 4014.

Railroad Historical Museum
Our museum is located in the St. Louis San-Francisco Locomotive No.4524, Burlington Baggage Car, Chicago and Northwestern Commuter Car and Burlington Northern Caboose. Cheyenne Depot Museum
The first floor now houses the Cheyenne Depot Museum and a brewpub/restaurant. The upper levels house offices for various city and private concerns related to tourism, economic development and the museum. The museum tells the story of the Cheyenne beginnings during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad, the Union Pacific Depot and the Railroad it is named after. You can view the Union Pacific Main Yard from the Coupler addition on the west end of the Depot, and experience more of the history of the Cheyenne Depot Museum.

Mid-Continent Railway Museum
Mid-Continent Railway Historical Society–also known as Mid-Continent Railway Museum–is an outdoor, living museum and operating railroad recreating the small town/short line way of life during the “Golden Age of Railroading,” with operating trains, educational exhibits, and displays of restored rolling stock. Mid-Continent features the only surviving Fish Car, now fully restored. Mid-Continent has operated at North Freedom, Wisconsin since 1963.

Arkansas Railroad Museum
The museum features the Cotton Belt Railroad restored Steam Locomotive 819. It is open from 9am to 2pm, Monday through Saturday, though extreme temperatures can affect operating hours, since the main museum is neither heated nor air conditioned. Admission is free, however donations are appreciated to help offset operating costs.

National Railroad Museum
The National Railroad Museum has a large collection of rolling stock and spanning more than a century of railroading and a number of historic locomotives, including an Aerotrain, Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4017 (One of the world's largest steam locomotive types), and British Railways Class A4 No. 60008 Dwight D Eisenhower (ex-London & North Eastern Railway No. 4496 Golden Shuttle) and train used by the Supreme Allied Commander and his staff in the United Kingdom and continental Europe during World War II.

Railroad Museum of Oklahoma
The Railroad Museum of Oklahoma is a railroad museum located in the former Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe freight depot in Enid, Oklahoma. It features two rooms of operating HO and N-gauge model railroads, a reference library, dining car china, 16 pieces of rolling stock, and other railroad artifacts. The museum also leads bi-annual trips utilizing cabooses from historical Enid area rail service.
